Hey Andy, awesome theme. By far the best I've seen here on Tumblr.
Just a quick question though:
I get heavy image distortion or larger images, even though they're larger or equal to 500px in width. Is there some kind of restriction on how large images can be?

You shouldn’t have issues with images equal to or greater than 500px wide. But if you are, it will be a Tumblr issue, not a theme issue. As the theme pulls in the 500px wide image and stretches the image if it is smaller than that.
